1.5 How to run a flowchart
SQLphone Designer allows you to run and test a flowchart, without using a phone.
Before you can run a flowchart,
you must specify a starting box:
- Decide which box is the starting point of your flowchart
- Move the mouse over the name of the starting box
- Click the right mouse button
- Select Start-At-Box from the popup menu
A start label will be displayed above the box.
To change the starting box, just repeat the above steps with a different box.

To run a flowchart, press F5.
- Prompts and memory values get played using your sound card
- Voice messages get recorded using your sound card
- Press number keys on your keyboard, to simulate phone keypad digits
- Press the Esc key to hang-up
The output window at the bottom of the screen will display the progress of your flowchart. It will also display any errors.
